Alice Cooper DIY back patch

My latest DIY back patch.Made form kangaroo leather with fabric paint highlights.
About 40 hours work all up, to cut the pieces, glue into place and then sew the whole lot together.

Haha....well I have 27 posted here and another 4 that I've haven't posted because they're punk jackets and I'm still working on them. So too many jackets. The problem is storing them.

Still don't get how these are made despite the detailed pictures, it just seems impossible to do the tiles on its own in perfect proportions.

Thanks for the flames.
I start by drawing the whole design out first on leather and then cut all the individual sections out as a base and the layer on top of those.
That way I know each piece fits in the original drawing.
