Accept I'm a Rebel red border patch
Vintage woven Accept patch with the iconic lion’s head artwork for their sophomore album I’m a Rebel. This is the less common red border version but otherwise the patch is identical to the black border. Despite being a fairly small patch the artwork comes across really well with the warm background colour offering a base for contrast on the shining sword hilt and blade. The black space around the main design further accentuates the use of colour and impact of the glitter while also doing wonders for the earlier period logo of the time. Soft hessian cloth backing typical of late 70s and very early 80s patches on this one.

Seeing this 12 years too late... damn what a beautiful jacket. Filled to the brim with old school gems!- Looks like they played a bowing alley, damn this must have been a killer gig. All those bands in their early stages.

Thank you man, it's a really good looking patch! I totally agree, it's scores like this that make the chase worthwhile 🤘 Haha in that case, listen up! The sword and logo are done in smooth silver glitter (not the chunkier kind) and they shine in the light 😎 My phone didn't do a great job of capturing that though 😅

Haha, it's worth going wild over if you ask me 😉 To be fair, the black border version is already an uncommon patch so this red border turns up once in a blue moon 😅 It's a killer though, and is a worthy addition to your wanted list and hopefully your jacket before too long! 🤘🔥🤘

Thank you, I think it is my favourite of the Accept patches too because it's so well designed and executed. It's definitely tough to find and I'm fortunate to have both of the border colours. Let's hope that you are able to find one too!
