Yes, but if you compare it to other bootlegs, it plays fine. For example, that mayhem bootleg titled "last breath" must be the worst sounding bootleg ever.
That's not the issue for me. The selection of songs are. I think that a vinyl entitled "Mayhem vs Burzum" should contain more like a best of... setlist for each band.
Thanks! I believe that "dawn of the black hearts" is live bootleg (with dead on vocals), and "life eternal" vinyl has live tracks on side B (live at Devilstone festival, Anyksciai, Lithuania, 16th of july 2010)
Exactly. 3rd party release. Tracks can be either some rare stuff from live gigs or rehearsal, or it can be "fake" release (mostly cheap cds from russia) which appears legit, but if you inspect closly barecode number, you will find out that it is bootleg.

I have that Mayhem vs Burzum vinyl as well.
It's a fun idea. But the execution feels very phoned in. But I guess that's to be expected of bootlegs.

Awesome! Are these live bootlegs or just demos?

I knew about dawn of the black hearts, sick stuff! What exactly is a bootleg though? Not an official release by a label?
