amazing setlist!

Indeed, I could take or leave the songs from the new album to be honest. But I can understand why they want to feature them.

yeah new Enslaved has good songs...but their early stuff...is amazing!

My biggest issue with "new" Enslaved is probably how all over the place they feel. Their songs has so many facetts and swings in mood that they end up as feeling unfocused and lacking in direction to me.
Compare this to an album like Frost where they have hard hitting songs contrasted with slower and moodier songs. In my mind that makes for a more fulfilling listen as the songs compliment each other instead of trying to do everything at once.

totally agree....they jump from aggressive to happy to depressed and so on...and do it really fast without letting me enjoy one of the moods to fullest.Old Enslaved is another story...much more interesting.

They're getting themselves ready for that full "Frost" setlist they'll be playing in the states next year!! SO STOKED

That sounds like an amazing gig right there!

They played full Frost album a couple of months ago in Bergen. As a part of the show they dispersed foam bubbles to make a snowstorm! Definitely a show to remember! I took a couple of quick photos:
