Devin Townsend The Colourful Vest

This is my first battle vest. It’s all over the place, with bands ranging from my early metal years to more recently discovered ones – and everything in between. It was a hell of a lot of fun collecting the patches and piecing it all together.

When I started out, I was pretty naïve about the investment in time and money (and blood – though luckily nothing too serious). The patches come from all five continents and more than a dozen countries. I also had some really great encounters with sellers from TSS.

All in all, it’s been an absolute blast to make this happen. And it definitely won’t be my last vest – the next patches are already waiting. The next one will be more focused and less colourful. But I needed to get this out of my system.
