Lunar Aurora - Hoagascht (Girlie)
Shirt I got for my partner Nykteia. Lunar Aurora is one of the bands we enjoy the most. She also loves owls so this particular design was the one for her. This band has personally inspired me since I was 13 years old and was one of the bands that made me fall in love permanently with the genre. I had not heard anything before Lunar Aurora that could transport me to a world of it's own, and thanks to this band I went ahead and discovered a lot of great German bands that marked my early years such as Grabnebelfürsten, Secrets of the Moon, Mortuus Infradaemoni, Graupel, Forest of Fog, Mortuary Temple... and some non-German but still related bands like Paysage d'Hiver and Nefarious (Hun). This band is the father of atmospheric black metal and I wish all these new bands making soft metal music calling it atmospheric bm took a listen to the real thing, maybe then they would make better music...

The band is a masterpiece itself... The gods of atmospheric black metal for me. Every album with a different sound/style but always fit into the atmospheric grounds perfectly. Andacht, Mond, Zyklus, Elixir... Such gems of black metal music.
