Tags just matter for resale IMO... It helps identify the print of the shirt.... But fuck tags I rip those suckers off most my shirts too

You can totally do whatever you want with your own merch/stuff. I mean, it's yours, right? And we live in democracy, right? So you got every right to remove/tear off the tag, since you're the owner and it's definitely not against the law to do it. I totally understand the scratch thing, which is why I also cut off very carefully the tag at every single shirt/longsleeve I have.
Sure, if you plan to sell it later, and the potential buyer is a tag adept/fanatic, then you might not find it too easily to sell it. But not everyone values the tag, so not all people insist on the tag being present.

I removed all my Tags of all my shirts..until i joined Tshirtslayer and noticed....that they are important for the age and worth of the shirt, to see if they are legit or bootleg..hahaha
Well....i dont sell my shirts. But maybe..when im 70 and need a important surgery...ill sell some..haha ;)
So...just in case...since 10 years, i dont remove tags. But ....do what ever u feel like.
I can totaly understand the point to remove this crap....
