Set your jacket on a flat surface, unpick as much of the patch as you can beforehand. Grab a hairdryer and turn it on highest heat, lowest intensity, hold it about arms length from the patch you wanna take off, and gradually move it closer. Slowly heat the glue back up to a soft and gooey state, all the while **slowly** peeling the patch back (Like a sticker on an album you want to keep)
You should be able to get the patch off with this, let it adjust to room temperature with the glue side facing up. If there's any glue residue on the jacket then you could heat it up again and get at it with an old knife/tweezers, or just sew something over it. Hope this helpsππ€
