Nazareth My Vintage Vest

This vest resembles the bands of my youth. Nazareth, Sweet, Judas Priest and Scorpions were my favorite bands in the 2nd half of the 1970's. Then the NWOBHM kicked off, I became an Iron Maiden enthusiast.

I built this vest in 2014/15 using a vintage jeans jacket and all original patches (no bootlegs here!). The only not so old patch is The Rods which I bought at their Very 'Eavy gig last year (2016). The badges are also all from the late 1970's and 1980's.

The layout is both oldschool and retro. I looked at images of NWOBHM battle vests and tried to preserve the spirit. At the time, it was not common to put patch close to patch, and so did I here. The only thing I did not do is to draw my own logos which you could see quite often back in the days.
