Updated my vest after getting this sick Svartidauði backpatch. Hand-sewn using upholstery needles and thread, with the assistance of pliers. Broke quite a few needles. Also used glue with some of the patches to hold them in place as neatly as possible while I sewed them, since crooked patches irk me. It worked well, I'm really satisfied with how it looks now.

A lot of great bands on here, and a few new for me that I'll look up. Good layout, many patches and pins but still not cluttered, not that easy to pull off. Did you use regular needles or leather needles for sewing?

Cool, cheers! I used straight needles with regular points, but large ones designed for heavy materials. I don't know if they were the best choice but I'm not too familiar with different kinds of needles. The main thing was just finding needles that were strong and sharp enough. I have a few needles with the flattened, widened points so I'll try them next time.
