Bathory Battle Jacket V1
I finally started a battle jacket. This one will be a mix of all the things that inspired me over the years and will probably include both metal and punk. I'll eventually try and give it a more chaotic/punk/crust look but with more metal bands on it.
Whilst this jacket won't have a general theme to it I knew from the start that the backpatch had to be Bathory. Quorthons music moves me to this very day and The Return might be my favorite album of all time! However since I couldn't find a return backpatch I decided to go with the self titled. Not a bad choice imho, killer record and killer design!
Nuclear Devastation is a kickass local band. I bought this patch after a badass (and terribly sweaty) gig in a venue called Baroeg. The patch is filthy as it has been on a pair of shorts before.
Dirty Rotten Imbeciles is one of those bands that for me crossed the gap between metal and punk.
And last but certainly not least we have the mighty Sodom. Honestly it's just one of those bands where I like nearly everything they have done. Killer live gigs as well!

Firstly, the shirt is old. As they were only printed in Australia by MIM there’s not many of them, especially in LS.

So far looking good! I like the focus on bands that are the most meaningful to you. Gotta ask, where did you grab the jacket? Did you have to bleach it at all? The color and material look amazing, I'd love to track down one if they're sold internationally!

Thank you! Yes that was the plan indeed. It will probably turn out as an eclectic mix.
I bought the jacket on sale at a chain store called Sting. I have no idea if they have those in America but it's a Hollister type of store. It came in this color luckily as I have no idea how to bleach a jacket. It did have gaudy stuff on the arms but as I planned on ripping those out anyway that wasn't to big of a concern for me. I hope you find one man! =D
