I was born in KY, live there to this day. I'm a father and a husband.
I first heard metal when Pantera was on SpongeBob. My dad had a cassette of The Black Album and one day I realized there was more to it than Enter Sandman when I was too lazy to rewind it. And from there, things just took off. I (poorly) play bass guitar. I literally love ALL music, but definitely have my preferences. Death Metal is my favorite genre. Vocals are usually what make or break an album for me, however I will try to tough it out if I have heard enough good things about a band or album. I own 1 battle jacket, had it probably 3 years? I'm hoping to get another soon and expand my collection. I started collecting band memorabilia in ~2016.
Louder Than Life in Louisville KY
LTL was a blast! My first festival experience. A lot of fun, saw plenty of things I wasn't expecting.
Also introduced to bands I still listen to today (Neck Deep, Twelve Foot Ninja, Anthrax)
Local shows
I really enjoy local shows the best. My friend plays in 2 bands and it's nice to see him up there enjoying himself.
