I am from America. I was born in San Diego, California in 1994. When I started to listen to metal was in 6th grade my step sister introduced it to me by that time the band's I was listening to were 30 seconds to mars, afi, slipknot, bring me the horizon you know the band's everyone starts out with I believe it was kinda embarrassing to list those bands to be honest but hey we all start somewhere this went on throughout middle school. I was one of those "scene" kids well I was getting into it listening to those Nu metal bands I think that's what they are called you know bands like the devil wears prada and such lol Anyway, once I got into high school my taste in metal started to change I wanted something harder then what I was listening to now I was getting annoyed with all the emo whiney music and for the record at that time I was all over the place in the metal I was listening too. I was listening to all that post hardcore I don't know what to call it bands like Arsonist get all the girls, dr.acula, Chelsea grin, motionless in white, bands like that with the break drowns and such lmao but yeah as time went on in high school I started to get into grind core and thrash metal a lot more then I discovered black metal at one point but didn't know what it was called didn't really listened to it that much as I do now I love black metal atm I'm putting together my very own battle jacket. But yeah once high school ended I started to listen to a lot more black metal any sorts of it out there. I've also been collecting t shirts/hoodies/longsleeves of the bands I love I've put away my old band shirts from middle school and from like the beginning of high school because I no longer listen to them and they are bands such as Chelsea grin and such during my scene years lol
I have been to none but I do go to local shows and watch underground bands perform
