I used to be the same. Since I was purchasing some very rare and expensive records, I didn't ever want to play them. I didn't want to diminish them or their value. But then one day I thought, what the fuck is the point of this? I'm sure it's much more fun to play their music and admire them, than it is to just admire them.
I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything, nor am I criticizing you in any way. But yeah, it's worth it in the end (to listen to them that is), so long as you take really good care of them.

Absolutely it's just I have them on cd and they are picture discs so I wouldn't want them scratched.....plus I have so much stuff in the house I have no room to display them properly .....I need a bigger house :/

I understand, believe me. I don't play picture discs myself. That being said though, I don't have many of them. But the ones I do have are decorating my walls! Haha.
And I don't have anywhere decent to display my regular record collection either. It sucks. The problem is that I have a one year old little nephew who is almost always around, and he touches everything! That little cute son-of-a-bitch! Haha.
Because of that, I have to have them in boxes, like an ANIMAL!!!
