The followup to his finest hour, 1980’s Never Run Never Hide, this one’s a bit of a mixed bag. Half of it is solid streetwise AOR in the vein of Survivor, Meat Loaf, and even Point of Entry era Priest on “This Time”. The other half, however, is adult contemporary sap that attempts to capitalize one the success of “Into the Night”, but fails to do so. All in all, it’s worth picking up if only for the rockers.
