I believe these are so rare because they were from the UK leg of the tour and these usually came sewn in jackets!

They are difficult to come across. Do you know if these were sold at gigs or in shops? I did have one back in 83 and I think it had the date on it, but I can't be certain

At the gigs if I'm not mistaken. The ones without the " '83 " were sold at stores. Just like the Beast On The Road patch with and without the " '82 ".
