Iron Maiden Uk tour patch comparison
Fri, 12/09/2025 - 16:16Just a little side by side for the 1980 UK tour patches sold. I have both the original and a bootleg version of this patch and thought it would be interesting to show them both to highlight the differences.
The top patch is the original and the bottom the bootleg. Main difference is the size, the original is smaller (9x5) while the bootleg is (10x7).
The logo is centered on the original and leaves some border space at the side while the bootleg logo takes up almost the entire patch.
The UK Tour 1980 text is centered on the original while on the bootleg the it is left aligned and is in a different font to the original.
The back on the original isa grey felt while on the bootleg is a white synthetic material.
The bootleg is well made and feels good quality.
