Vintage woven Thunderstick patch from either 1983 or 1984. This is a real NWOBHM obscurity that I was lucky to get my hands on recently. A killer red border circle patch with the excellent castle artwork used for the reverse cover of the Feel Like Rock 'n' Roll single and the B side label art on the Beauty and the Beasts album. I've never seen a Thunderstick patch before, despite all the Samson patches that use his likeness, so I was very pleased with this score! Funnily enough Paul Samson and Thundersticks both went off in less metallic directions despite their split although Thunderstick ended up glammier than the bluesy Nicky Moore era of Samson. Rest in Peace Jodee Valentine

Man... this what I love about TSS, seeing a totally unknown, never-before-seen patch rise from the primordial haze of the 80s!!! Wow!

This one had totally passed me by until I found a copy within the record sleeve! It's a cracking little patch with some killer artwork and the album is a very fun listen.
