Slayer "Hell Awaits" (blue version) backpatch

Some weeks ago I decided to remove this Hell Awaits from my vest and make some maintenance on this mighty backpatch. I sewed it back afterwards.

-Here's some backstory about it:
I got this backpatch on a trade back in 2013 from a guy that was at least his second owner. It was previously sewn by machine and when I received it, it still had a lot of leftover thread and even remains of blue denim! I hate patches sewn by machine. These things are so powerful that most times the thread rips through the borders or the patch canvas itself weakening and/or breaking it. And this one was no exception.

If you scroll down you will see the damaged areas where the threads ripped the borders appart. I used a thermo-adhesive patch to seal the broken parts and I strenghtened the most damaged area sewing extra black canvas. I know it looks ugly and it's not "100% vintage" anymore since it has been restored but better this than break it into pieces from further wear. Anyway the print is still near mint condition and the backside will never be seen, since this will be sewn on another vest soon.
