wow wow wow…. this is an original RISK: RATMAN HMFC Party patch from 1990. Removed & given to me from an old HMFC/Motor-club vest….
This is beyond rare, i couldn’t put a value on it if i tried. I’m a little shocked for words to be honest… HMFC clubs are know for having some of the rarest stuff, and this is certainly rare… I have never seen or heard of a RISK HMFC patch until i was contacted…. fucking crazy…
I am to believe this patch was produced around 1990, for the release of RATMAN, or just a general RATMAN party, i know that HMFC clubs threw release parties & band parties for local groups/gigs/albums, that sort of thing. It’s got some dirt, but for a 34 year old patch, i’d say it’s in great condition.
I’m unaware of what club this belongs to, or really any information about it haha. I can barely read what the text under the wings says…
If anyone can read it, id love the help, i’m reading it left to right, top to bottom… so the top row to me reads “Street Rats” and the bottom row reads “Bands Issue”? I’m unsure if it’s even in english
As for any other information, i don’t know. Hoping one of the many german metal maniacs on here could give me a hand with the history of this one….

Wow, never seen this one before! I wonder how many other cool patches are out there that we don’t know of yet…

i like to think that atleast 70% of all heavy metal related patches have made their way on to the internet.. then again, this showed up 2 weeks ago & i’ve never seen it before, so who knows!!!

I think the score for "made it to the internet" is pretty high, up in the 90s.
The "properly archived" score on the other hand - that's another thing.
I have a folder on my harddrive with screenshots collected over the years.
Just patches that caught my eye when i saw them. Some turned out to be relatively well documented.
Others however, and not few but hundreds, I have never or only a few times seen again, anywhere.
Rare border color variations, colour swaps & pallet shifts, obvious factory errors, dated or tour variations, uncut editions of shaped woven patches.
And then there's the opaque jungle of HMFC patches or simply old embroidered logos.
These are not only obscenely rare, the latter are also obscenely hard to properly date without concrete or atleast anecdotal evidence.
Ah, and the list goes on.
I love the hunt, but it also drives me crazy that there's a few white whales out there that I remember to have seen but forgot to take a picture. 😁
As a conversation piece, I'll just pick one from my folder at random: unfinished factory sample colour swap Sodom - "Obsessed by Cruelty"
(The original upload is by RnReiner, so credit for the picture goes to him. 🙂)

Not everday that something like this makes it to TSS. Fantastic find dude! I'm sure you are over the moon being a Ratman Maniac and being the first to share this unique HMFC gem \m/

No sir, this is a one in a million find!!! I’m beyond the moon, i’m at venus!!! Such a crazy cool patch, and HMFC’s are not typically known to have merch for “sillier” bands like RISK, can’t say i’ve ever seen a Anthrax Im The Man HMFC patch haha…
Couldn’t believe i was contacted, a prized possession, i don’t think i have ever seen this before, not in any old pictures of HMFC, or through word of mouth… now all that’s left for RATMAN (that i’m aware of) is the official 1990 printed backpatch! It’s been on my wantlist for years now… heard about it on facebook from a friend of a friend who owned it in the 90s!
