MARILLION Assassing original backpatch.

It's been used but it's in a very decent condition for its age despite a little hole on top left which has been mended, as per pictures.
Credit line: (c) 1990 MARILLION

Quite a rare piece of Marillion history, illustrating the second single from the album Fugazi (1984), with what is probably one of the most deliciously disturbing artworks by Mark Wilkinson.

Love it! Marillion was the first band I fell in love with in the mid 80's, still a favourite of mine (speaking of the Fish era). Timeless music, awesome Wilkinson art, great patch!

Cheers! I've always been intrigued by their poetic universe - the art of Wilkinson and albums like Script For A Jester's Tear, Misplaced Childhood and Fugazi sure contributed massively to it!

Thanks a lot man! The more days go by the more I'm actually tempted to keep it and start a new prog jacket with it, ha!

I know that feeling well, and while I wouldn't want to sway you one way or the other, it would make a great project haha...

Dude, absolutely phenomenal! I always wondered if their might be some Marillion Backpatches out there. This is bloody fantastic.

Cheers! There's quite a bunch of them actually, but this one carries off the laurels hands-down if you ask me!

Definitely! While musically I would probably choose a Script... Backpatch, since this is by far my most worshipped one by Fish, this artwork is absolutely insane. In general Marillion is probably THE band where it's worthwhile to collect all the seven inches, considering artworks like He knows..., Garden Party..., or Market Square Heroes. All immaculate.
