Here I present the holy grail amongst the holy grails 🔥🤘🥵🤘🔥 Despite having many vintage Maiden back patches, of which some absolute rarities, I have to say that this is the pinnacle of my collection 😍 Nothing beats this amazingly beautiful back patch.
Painkiller is arguably the 'most metal' metal album out there, and the artwork is absolutely legendary. This original back patch perfectly reflects this as well.

Wow, this looks mint, doesn't it? I'm still amazed how difficult it is to get a hand on most of these 1990/1991 back patches. Congratulations, I hope it will find its way onto a vest!

Haha, I'd argue to the contrary! It'd be a shame if the Chemist didn't go out and show this phenomenal patch off. I don't regret for a minute sewing on my Painkiller back patch, even though it got torn apart way too early. We are talking about patches after all, and one day you might regret storing them without putting them to good use :) I have to admit, though, that whatever price Jeffrey paid might make it hard to expose the patch to the usual wear and tear.

The back patch has been used, which makes it even more impressive to be in this excellent state. I have no idea why, of this monumental album, with this amazing artwork, there are just so little out there. As a big fan of the band and patches, it is nice to have something this rare, but it would be nice to see somewhat more of these out there. Especially in the wild.

About using it..... The Chemist is in doubt man 😖 I have a Priest dedication jacket planned and I can't think of a better back patch than this one. Surely, that jacket will not see any shows with so many drunk and rude savages out there who just don't care. I wear my jackets casually so you might see it out on the streets, restaurant, or even at the foot massage parlor 😎
The other side is indeed it's value. It is so rare and valuable (to idiots like me as my mom wouldn't even pay 5 euro for it 😂) that I doubt whether I should take that 'risk'.
Luckily I don't have to decide now and surely, when my Priest jacket is done, you will see what the decision was 😁

I am both happy for you and also a little jealous.
Congratulations on hunting down this patch - a real shot at glory.

One can have a metal meltdown deciding to wear such a beauty or not. As for the concerts you can surely get between the hammer and the anvil sometimes.

So we will remain with our eyes open trying to catch you hell patrolling the streets with this painkiller backpatch, living bad dreams like a nightcrawler would.

You are so right with calling this the perfect album! It is so perfect that I, being chemist, am of the opinion that this Pk should be an element within the periodic table of elements. Still doubting whether it should be among the transition metals or alkali metals 🤔🤔🤔 I think the latter is the best though 🤘😜🤘

Hell Patrol is the most underrated song on the album, it's one of those songs that shouts METAL from the top of the mountain! 💀💀💀

1) Sad Wings of Destiny
2) Stained Class
3) Sin After Sin
4) Defenders of the Faith
5) Painkiller

Still a very strong album that most bands would kill to write! And, again, I cannot stress how sensational the back patch actually looks, utterly sumptuous 😫😫😫
