Same here, many times I get the impression that a lot of cult bands get their recognition simply for being around early, and not necessarily because their music still holds up. Pink Floyd on the other hand is one of those bands who is as enjoyable today as ever. Most of their albums have aged remarkably well.

Totally agree mate, I can revisit Pink Floyd anytime and still enjoy it like the time prior, Some bands just can't come close to what PF did, Just the other week I was just relaxing and watched The Wall, Seen a trailer for Roger Waters: The Wall I'm going to order that soon.
They have so many remarkable pieces, Though The Endless River was kind of a let down, I thought it lacked in ways, It's a great album but not for what could have been!
I've been thinking of doing a cover of Goodbye Cruel World on my concept album about death.

They are one of those bands I keep coming back to. Especially the Wish you Where Here and Animals albums. They go great with early summer.
The Endless River felt a bit more like a soundtrack than a standalone album. When listening it felt sort of like they where sleepwalking through the entire thing and that it was supposed to be enjoyed as a backdrop for something else rather than on its own,. Louder Than Words was a pretty good song though.
