Founded in 1977 by two audacious brothers, one a punk, the other a metal-head. Alchemy began as a dream, forged in the heart of a tiny kitchen. With nothing but a makeshift metal-melting set up on a single ring gas stove and an insatiable desire to create, they hand-crafted one-of-a-kind jewellery that captured the spirit of the underground. Selling their creations from the boot of their car at festivals across Europe, the brothers unknowingly laid the foundation for a legacy that would transcend generations.
As whispers of their extraordinary designs spread like wildfire, Alchemy evolved into a cultural phenomenon. Becoming the go-to brand for iconic jewellery and merchandise, collaborating with legendary bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Motörhead, and AC/DC.
What started as a humble venture transformed into an internationally recognised brand, celebrated for its distinctive Gothic, fantasy, and history-inspired aesthetic. Every piece of Alchemy jewellery, still to this day is proudly hand crafted in Leicester, England and embodies Alchemy’s commitment to artistry and quality, ensuring that the legacy continues.
As the demand for their unique creations grew, so did the vision. Alchemy expanded its product portfolio to include complementary gifts and home décor items, all born from the same raw creativity that ignited the journey. All designed by Alchemy’s talented artists in England to compliment the iconic jewellery collection.
Beyond the signature jewellery Alchemy diversified and embraced new horizons by venturing into artwork licensing.
