Well from what i understand, track pants are lined with a net-like lining to keep you warm. and on the outside they're usually made from synthetic material like nylon.
Sweatpants are like "Jams", made from cotton (to absorb sweat) but longer.
but yeah, bands should make both again to give guys more choice.
i suppose it makes up for it that it isnt as common to find girl-cut shirts.

most bands dont have girl-cut shirts (beside the BIG PLAYER bands) and WHEN a band have 1..very often the design sucks nuts..haha..
