Yea same here, not sure what's going on. I was in Canada a few weeks ago, and I'm back in Hong Kong now. I messaged DoctorDeath about it and he assigned me the Australian flag for some reason :P.

Yea I do remember a couple of people on the site don't have flags despite the IP detection thing, can you manually assign flags though?

Where did my flag go... I'm still in the same wireless network that was always able to detect it before. Ironic to see a generic Euro flag, as Iceland is veeery much against joining EU :p

Flag changes when someone is traveling though, depending on location - which imo makes it more fun to have "mobile" flags that pinpoint where in the world everyone is at the moment, instead of having permanently assigned fixed flags.
(plus this way, nobody can bullshit by simply picking a "cool" place to be "from")

But if the IP recognition system fucks up, it may get confusing - and did get, for some members. A temporary fluke?
