Here is my Battle Jacket revived. I made the back patch myself as I couldnt source the one I wanted at the time I made it.
I got some iron on transfer paper to print 'the number of the beast' on it. Then ironed it onto some material. I then stuck the printed material on some felt material to make it strong and thick like the original.
All studs, patches and badges sourced from ebay.
I purchased the jacked from Aussie Disposals for $5. What a bargain!
Last few photos are of me wearing the Battle Jacket with a mullet wig (also sourced from ebay) ready to head out to a metal night.
Sorry about the low quality pics. Took them with my phone in poor light.
I know the jacket could do with more patches and badges. Will source more, add them then upload the pics.
Here is the finished product. Hope you like!

Hahaha, i fuckin laugh hard when saw this comment. actually i was expecting something like this from these nazi dudes.
Anyway, jacket looks good, i respect this. At first i thought this was the snow jacket that had the trooper backpatch, was fuckin expensive. Dont remember the brand but was ridiculous. Just a snow jacket with a patch in back, wtf, this is way better and i guess this is cheaper.

not gay in my eyes...if I saw a current heavy band vocalist rocking this jacket, i would say "right on" and watch the metal flow...

LIVE AFTER DEATH! that was easily the first live album (i bought the original double vinyl when it hit the shelves) that i can remember as an influence

Thanks for the feedback.
Back in the day the army green jackets from Aussie Disposals seemed to be more popular than the jean jackets. Not sure why this was but it was the trend in our area. Im from the Northern suburbs in Victoria. Even the Black Trench coats were the in thing too.
I have more patches that I never put on. I didnt want to flood the jacket with just patches. Although looking at the pics it does look a bit naked.
Cheers

I dunno, I would like it more if it was black, and actually fit you. It's a bit short, and I know jackets are like that sometimes, but it's kinda odd. Needs more patches!

Damn, it's short like hell! To be honest, it looks a little ridiculous on the last pic. You should at least put the shirt into the pants, so that it looks more like 80ies-style-short-as-hell and less like girlie-fashion-short-as-hell! :D Sorry, couldn't resist the word-creating. But long shirts totally don't fit to short jackets.
The jacket itself is really nice work (the longer I look at it the more I like it) and looks quite special, and I wouldn't put on too many patches, neither, at least as long as the sleeves are on. Not that you should cut them off, I only want to say that sleeves combined with too many patches don't look good in my eyes...
4/5.
