Do you goto any festivals or shows?:
Definitely. Ozzfest 2002 and 2005 were a couple of my first big metal festivals (saw Maiden and Sabbath), but I've been to a lot of shows. Most recent: Celtic Frost, Enslaved, Obituary, Uada. Before that, GWAR, Iron Reagan, Behemoth, Wolves in the Throne Room, Slayer, Lamb of God. Etc Etc.
