Tribute vests are great - I used to have one dedicated to U.D.O., but unfortunately they didn't release that many official patches and the bootlegs didn't satisfy me, even though it looked nice in the end... thought about making some from old t-shirts (something you might maybe try, too).
But if you end up having some space to spare on your battle jacket, don't forget about the newer official Slayer patches either! Those designs are pretty cool, too, not even mentioning the quality/density of the threads. They will inevitably become vintage some time down the line, too 😈

I hope so, I’ve seen some really rad ones on here. That’s so cool, you should of made it a U.D.O/Accept tribute vest. There are some really cool Accept patches out there. I’m definitely going to get some of the newer one, I’ve seen a lot awesome designs that I want.

Looking forward to seeing your tribute, man. Have you already thought about the base colour of the jacket itself? Old school stonewash, bleached light blue or maybe black? Looking at the patches, I'd probably say black, but that's just guessing on my part.

I thought about adding Accept, but it was at that time when everybody was ecstatic about "the new Accept", that I wanted to keep it faithful to the original B.A.N.D. If just maybe a little out of spite for those people 😅
Only one other band I thought about adding was Vanize, but they had basically zero patches ever made, so that would leave me either with unofficial ones or possibly having one custom made.
You can check out some of the U.D.O. patches I had on my aforementioned (black) battle jacket in my trade reviews, if you happen to be curious about that. But there are surely many more better coordinated tribute vests here on TSS.

Yeah I have it’s going to be a black vest. Oh alright I get you, it would of been cool though. I checked it it out it looked so cool man, you should of kept it.

I guess so. Maybe some other time, I might come up with something similar. Who knows. Probably something a bit simpler, though.
