Does anyone know the story behind the rubber patches? I know they were made in eastern europe, and last time i went to russia I even found newer ones with "modern" bands...
If anyone has rubber patches with Venom or Sodom that are not in this picture, please get in touch! I have 100s of old patches for trade!

Yes- I think these maybe made in Hungary, because here were just these kind of patches in the eightees

I remember there was big packpatch from venom black metal motive with blue and silver colors
I had helloween, judas priest, iron maiden, exodus, testament, little patch but just the priest stayed with me, unfortunatelly...

That's really cool to hear. I think I would die if I would walk into a hungarian metal shop in the 1980s, haha, because all my favourite metal bootleg stuff is from there and then! These guys really understood how to make it look just like Metal sounded, I think.
If you ever get a photo or something of that Venom backpatch i would really like to see it.

Yeah, when I was a child I often went to these shop: Junior, Hurrikán, Elektromos krokodil, Metal bunker, etc. I had too much money just looked out from my head. Well I will seek the original owner of some shop (especially JUNIOR tshirt shop), maybe can be found some old t-shirt of patches! I remember there was incredible selection, perhaps exist some pieces from the past.
