I would'nt have thought I'd see anything of Rory Gallagher upon these pages so this is a surprise! I love this guitarist's music and playing. A classmate of mine, back in 1982, got me into him. We were hanging out one day and he puts on this lp; commenting that I might like it. Indeed I did and the lp he played for me was 'Shadowplay'! Later on that night I was lucky enough to catch some footage of him on TV, at the Montreux Blues Festival. (I think it was from a 1979 show) I was able to watch that set twice that night! The show I was watching ran their four hour blocks back to back. Great stuff and kick ass patch!
