So damn great. I like every work of Katatonia but their doom times were just the best. Oh well it's already December, time to listen to some Dance of December Souls!

while I definitely really dig their later more progressive stuff, The Great Cold Distance, and especially Night Is the New Day are fantastic albums, but those first two albums are special. I think Brave Murder Day is still in many ways the pinnacle of their output, so much so I waited an hour and a half by their tour bus a couple years back after a show in Boston to get Jonas and Anders to sign my record sleeve of it haha.
