Iron Maiden - No Prayer for the Dying - Back Patch 1990 (Purple version)

I now got my hands on a brand new 'purple version' of the No Prayer for the Dying back patch. I didn't know this back patch existed in a different color as well so it caught me by surprise.
In the side-by-side picture below you can see the differences with the 'blue' version I already have in my collection. This version has purple grass, and has less highlights in the grass and on the crypt. Also, the color of Eddie his shirt differs quite some. The grave robber is 'steel grey' (having a blue tint) in this version, whereas in the 'blue version' he is 'ash grey'. Quite some differences if you ask me 🧐 or maybe I'm just over-nerdy about it 🤓🤪 Anyway...A very nice collection piece for me.

The same here! I wanted to actually use this back patch, but since it is a different color version it became a collection piece 😄

I think so too. As said, it caught me by surprise as well. On the picture the differences are more subtle than in real but still clear.
When I started collecting I didn't know I would go down this 'different version' road, but I like it 🤘🤓🤘

Thanks man 😊 I recently also saw a picture from someones collection in which it looks like there is no green. So, basically Eddie his shirt is yellow and blends in with the lights. Seems there is even more to hunt down for me 😚
