I took a new shot of it with a macro lens (sadly mine is not great) and angled the light a bit to pick up the details. I should know better when shooting black embossed stuff, because it's always a PITA to get any fine details.
It's a Sigma 50mm 2.8. I'd like to upgrade to something a lot better, but I mostly shoot architecture and landscapes so can't really justify the expense.

I'm a grip at a film company specialising in corporate videos. A colleague has a sigma 100 we play with sometimes and it's lovely. Unfortunately we don't have one of our own since we don't really NEED one for our purposes.
Indeed - I always try to ask myself just how much use I'll get out of it and if the money would be better spent on other stuff (eg. music gear, flights to gigs etc). It's just a small hobby, so often the money has to go to other things. The best I own is easily my Sigma 10-20mm, and even that had to be bought used!
I hope you have better luck when you finally get it than I did though! My copy was bent and torn in the post, even though it was packed decently and said FRAGILE DO NOT BEND on it. Fortunately the CD plays fine, but still. Someone at the postal service must have *really* wanted to fold it.. :(
Damn, that sucks. Bastards. I hope you haven't had a lot of problems of that kind. Overseas packages take ages to arrive here, but they always come in perfect shape, so hopefully that'll extend to this lovely boxset as well.
It's happened a few times, and I know it's somewhere down the postal line that it happens (the distros/labels are reliable and trustworthy, and I'm positive wouldn't send damaged stuff).
You know, I'd take long delivery times in a heartbeat if it guaranteed that things arrived safely. Sadly that seems beyond anyone's control here though.
I do recommend the box set though - it's beautiful.

Looks sick! I can't quite tell what that logo on the keyring is supposed to be, though.

Thanks!

What's the focal length of your macro lens?
