I would say, remove the knobs for more patch space. If you still want a way to close the front, then you can always make your own system for fastening it shut with straps or something. I am having the same problem in a way, so I might use this solution myself.

Thanks Y'all!
Im going to remove the knobs. Its just taking space, and my vest is already small so then I will be able to put on some more patches.
But then, how do I remove those knobs? Pulling it off with brute force or something? Is there a easy way to do it?
