Sadistik Exekution Simple jacket

deadlock

A bit of a simpler jacket, and my first attempt at not using a traditional back patch on denim. Like to think it worked out quite well. Not sure if the Bolzer patch works, so that might come off but otherwise this should be done.

I included close ups of the Mayhem and Teitanblood patches since I don't think I've seen them on this site before. And you can't make them out too well from the other pictures. Excuse the Mayhem being in different lighting, I didn't think of it until later.

Back is killer! Used to have D666 and SadEx faux leather BPs on a leather vest years ago and thinking of redoing the vest for an Aussie tribute. As for the Bolzer it looks like a shoulder or overgrown elbow pad but placement for that patch will naturally be tricky. I’m thinking maybe on the the back forearm like a tattoo

Cheers man, I was hesitant on leaving the back so simple (mostly because of the gap between the two). So I'm glad others think it works too.

I think Bolzer has to stay where it is if its gonna stay at all. I'm already prone to cuffing the sleeves, so lowering it to the forearm would prove a pain. And I can't put on the elbow without it looking like an elbow pad

You could lower the D666 2 inches to reduce the space between the two. I personally wouldn’t sew a shaped bp too close to the top panel. Btw is the D665 printed?

It bothers me if the main back patch isnt at the seam on denim. I think the gap works alright within the context of the simpler jacket. I'm just used to filling them out. Plus its on now, and resewing that shape is a bitch

And no, its embroidered

If it was a standard 15x12 bp it has to be on the seam for me but I think it might even look like an official D666 jacket if the patch was centered just say. Interesting patch, thought it was printed since there are no borders

You could be right on that I actually considered running just the back patch, a single D666 patch on the front, and maybe one the sleeve. To give it that themed / almost official look. But the temptation to the put that Sad Ex to use proved too great. I also had a Misery shape I considered filling the gap with, but the central 6's point isn't actually at the center of the logo. Even though the logo looks like it should be. Where as the point in the Misery logo is actually centered. So they made each other look off center. And kinda made it look like the back was just a flyer anyway.

And there's actually borders on there, its just the border isn't too thick so it doesn't really show in the photo well.

As soon as I saw it I knew I needed to sew it on something, its just one of those perfect patches.

Totally agree, need a slightly smaller backpatch of theirs like this for my Aussie kutte.

Looks great! Do you plan on adding any more patches? I think it looks great either way.

Thanks and I plan to keep it as is, possibly even remove Bolzer.
