Moonsorrow kutte

This is my soon-to-be Moonsorrow kutte.

Just need to get those pieces enforced and tailor-customized. And well of course sewed on the leather.

It's kinda annoying that the logo is white but what can you do.

You could paint the logo directly on the vest instead? :/

I could but then again I'm probably the shitiest painter there is haha.
Can't paint even a freakng stickman well.

Jos ei suti pysy kädessä niin tussilla vaan vetelet valkosen yli! Saattaa kesän jälkeen vähän haalistua mutta uutta kerrosta vaan kehiin.

Kattoo mitä sitä tekee tän kanssa!
Toisaalt toi "pistää" silmää just oikealla määrällä.

Painted or not, this is really damn cool. I love Moonsorrow so much, but there's something about their merch whether it's DIY or official, it just always sticks out and is some of the best too!

Thanks!
Moonsorrow is one of my all time favorite bands and seems that I'm going to work with the band I though finally really to make this idea happen.
Originally had very different idea but I'm low on cash and shitty at diy so I just bought a shirt. Cut it up and so on.
Definitely not finished yet!

Great band and pretty cool idea, but this somehow looks a bit weird. I would paint it right onto the jacket, and would make everything just white instead of white/red.

Thanks!
I know. Even I have to get used to it but it is what it is.
I believe it will look much better after I get those pieces shaped.

Satan's Finest's picture

I don't think it looks weird at all. I think it'll look great when it's all finished!

Thank you!
I think I'm going to "keep it simple". For a start I'm looking for the "shield"-patch only for the front. After that I'm going to let it grow with time and add stuff along the road.
Can't wait to wear this on the road with Moonsorrow.

Sounds great! I generally prefer simple jackets with less patches. And just adding to it as you go along is cool. I rarely have the patience for the though, hah!

Less is more!
I used to make my denim freaking christmas tree's and soon get pissed off because there was too much or something like that etc haha. So less for me!

No nyt on kyllä asiallinen liivi tulossa! Meinasitko etupuolelle laittaa mitään?

Kiitti!
Enköhän mä etupuolelle myöskin jotain laita jossain välissä.
Jos jostai löydän sen Monarien "kilpi"-pätsin ni siin olis ainaki yks mitä oon miettiny.

You can paint right on the patch I do that sometimes, check out my Moonsorrow jacket. Just use real thin watery paint. If you go out of the edges it will soak into the black mete rial and won't be noticeable.

Hmm. Maybe I'll try that. We'll see!
I've looked it before and it is awesome!
