Back in 1999 on the last night of the US Tour with Nashville Pussy,I was very lucky and I won some backstage passes from the band's site,but I wasn't the only one as I seen about 20 more that had won them too but we had problems as this was at the House of Blues in Orlando,FL and the security wasn't letting anybody in and it wasn't the first incident that happened that night during NP set Corey Parks was about to do her fire breathing act then you see a guy running with a fire extinguisher and as soon as that happened the curtains came down and they stopped the show,lucky though they didn't cancel the whole thing,but anyhow back to waiting in line to go backstage,I seen their tour manager walking by and I told her look we won these passes and they ain't letting us in so she went and took care of business,so everybody got let in,but I noticed Mikkey Dee and Phil were leaving already as the party had been going on already,so I went to this room where the NP people were still at and it looked like everybody was still having a good time so I asked them where Lemmy was and they told just chill he will be back.

So as I was standing there and I turned around and there he was and he reached out to me and shock my hand and then we had chat about things but one question I been wanting to ask him is why he hasn't come down to play my area in about nine years and he didn't say anything but the way he looked at me was enough even the tour manager gave me the same expression,so something happened to him back then,and then he said I'm gonna go back there if you wanna know where I'm at,so I let him go and a few minutes later and to say goodbye and take a pic and he was there with a bottle of Jim Beam as you can see and he was also drawing on the tablecloth which I wish I would've snagged as he left for the bus a few minutes later.

This was the only time I got to meet him and I tried a few other times but after this the band got huge and it was just impossible but I will never forget this night,I met MD and Phil on other occasions even Philthy but this was the best,being a fan of the band for so many years,they left me with some great memories no doubt.

Great story! It would be awesome if you took that tablecloth, but it's already awesome that you met him! So, no need for regrets!

Thanks and yeah just to give you an idea on what it looked like,if you ever seen the first birthday party video and you see the drum skins with them drawings well it was something like that,that's what caught my attention when I seen it.

Thanks to everybody and I'll throw in one more Motortale.

Back in 1998 when Motörhead was on the Ozzfest you would figure they would be on the mainstage or something but as we arrived after a 2 hr drive,I just got this bad feeling in my gut because we ran late due to my friends friend, and I was right as soon as I went in I asked someone wearing a Motörhead shirt when they coming on and they told me they already played and I lost it,I turned around and looked at this guy that made us late and gave him the look of pure evil I wanted to kill him right there because he has done this kind of shit before,and I said fuck this I'm gonna go find the band because I ain't going back in there so they followed me to where the tour buses were and as I was looking around into the buses I see Phil and Mikkey so I pounded on the window to get their attention and I did and Phil opens the door and he says "come on in mate!" and sure enough I did and these guys that came with me were standing behind me and didn't come in,fuck it their loss,the bus was empty just them two, Lemmy must of been in the back sleeping or getting laid,but then I noticed these guys were pissed drunk,they were actually checking how drunk they were on a breathalyzer and I tried to talk to them and they were past that point they didn't care what I said,a side of the band not many people have seen, as I was leaving Phil said don't you have anything you want signed I said "no man why the fuck you play at 5 pm because I missed your set" and that was it.I found out later from another friend that saw them and said they only played like 30 min which is a joke in itself,who would've known that the next year things would've been way better.
