Tell us about yourself?: 

I am from North Carolina USA and have been an avid and eclectic music lover with a focus on rock since before I could speak full sentences. I own a video of me at age 2 rocking out dancing and glued to MTV which isn’t special now, but this was 1984. MTV just came out on cable. I was busy doing what 2 year olds do and then I heard the beginning of the video for Van Halen’s Hot for Teacher come on. I spun around and bolted toward the TV. If you remember, the video doesn’t begin with playing any music at all…but I knew what it was without looking at the TV. I then ran around the house to alert my sister “Saweena SAWEEENA (Selena) IT’S ON!!l” My parents married in 1970 at 18 and 20 years old and my dad inspired this obsession with rock music evolving into almost every sub-genre. But I am unable to name any current popular music as I think it’s all crap. Most new music I end up discovering I like are in movies or shows. Shazam is my best friend for that. Naming band’s I like isn’t possible without making this too long as I can’t imagine leaving anyone out. I will say my first T- shirt purchased was the Pearl Jam Choices shirt which I still have circa 1992 so if you do the math I was 10 years old. Wearing to school wasn’t optional if you’re familiar with it. Interestingly enough, there were no issues with me wearing my second purchase, which I also have, the following year in 1993. Nirvana In Utero. I just found out mine can be sold for $1000 even in the wear the shit out of it condition it’s in. Dad and mom instilled appreciation for 60s and 70s rock music in me. 80s rock I loved too but leaned towards the pop bands like Erasure or later on Depeche Mode. 90s grunge comes next…Okay, I’ll stop there or I never will…

How did you find out about TShirtSlayer? : 

I was looking for the Skindred Nobody shirt I own from a 2004 concert in Clearwater Beach, Florida USA and this is the only forum I found it on! It was sold a while back and I was curious how much they got for it. So many are priceless to the individual. Struggling not to list my Nirvana 1993

As a matter of fact yes, I do rock metal loud enough to deafen the hearing impaired. I’m just a bit better at hiding it from strangers until I subject them to it.
