Found Rotting Christ on one of my dad’s old hard drives when I was a little kid.
Instantly hooked. That was basically the start of my metal addiction.
Started out with the classics — Maiden, Priest, Hammerfall, Manowar — then moved into pagan/viking stuff like Amon Amarth, Obscurity, Varg, Equilibrium, ...
After that came a heavy thrash phase: Kreator, Deicide, Exodus, Sodom, etc.
Death metal (Deicide, Obituary, Pestilence, Death, …) was always running alongside the whole journey.
Eventually I ended up deep in black metal.
Funny how one random discovery can shape your taste for life.
