Now that's a very unusual one... The fabric is soft felt. The only other patches I know printed on such felt are https://tshirtslayer.com/patch/van-halen-jump-cutout-strip-felt-patch-sold and http://pmcdn.priceminister.com/photo/patch-blue-oyster-cult-890763088_ML...
It's not even hemmed - it has frayed borders. The print is of very high quality though.
Its former owner is positive that he bought it in a French shop some time between 1982 and 1984.
