I believe the one that is dated was sold during part 1 the tour only and can also be found on some of the jackets that were given to the crew, on the ither hand, the ones without a date were the US versions sold in-store.

I wonder if there is a size difference between European made patches and US made patches?

Most of them did but it's a mystery. Maybe they were playing around with the sizes, all I've seen are some slimmer variations but nothing outstanding.
