Nooit eerder gezien. Uit de tijr rat epiphone nog een eigen merk was??
Kben op moment me vaders strat uit wat is het... 81 geloof ik of zelfs 79... Anyhow ik ben de strat aan het opknappen. Vedrading deed het niet meer zo goed en er zaten zo goed als geen frets en lak meer op de hals. Ding heefd veel meegemaakt en heel wat werkuren achter d erug. En werd alleen maar stoffig. Vond wel zo eervol om hem weer speelbaar te maken.

Nee; Epiphone is in 1957 door Gibson overgenomen.... deze is eind jaren 70/ begin jaren 80 in de Matsumoku fabriek in Japan gebouwd. Het was dus al een dochter bedrijf van Gibson, maar ze brachten wel eigen modellen uit zoals de Scroll of deze Genesis ( ze hebben trouwens ook een hele mooie PRS copy genaamd Spotlight). Mooie gitaar en nog voor redelijke prijzen te vinden !!!!
Ik ben benieuwd naar die Strat van je pa.... USA model ??? Ga je 'm helemaal zelf opknappen ??? Zou graag een paar pics willen zien
