SHORT INTRO: LOVE FOR METAL
I've been listening to metal since 2003, when I started high school. Korn and Slipknot introduced me to the emotion and heavyness of metal. SOAD, Metallica, folk metal and many others followed. That evolved into a period of mostly metalcore and deathcore, later to be joined by (slamming) brutal death metal and technical death metal and even later grindcore and powerviolence. Hardcore and beatdown followed. Sometimes I also really enjoy skatepunk and poppunk. Also bluegrass is very important to me.

Most of the time I'm just grateful for such a variety of genres, subgenres and subsubgenres (and subsubsubgenres ;)) to match every mood!

My oldest tshirt is an Avenged Sevenfold one from when they were still with Victory Records. My newest is from Defeated Sanity - with "Chronicles of Lunacy" backprint. I've had over 120 band shirts, but many of them are already sold. I'll try and upload them all, if I still have all the photos!

BATTLE VEST
I recently started creating my battle vest. It's gonna be rad!
The theme: It'll show every metal subgenre I listen to: from SOAD to Devourment and from Nasum to Beyond Creation. I'm avoiding red as a color. My color scheme is mainly browns, oranges, yellows and black and whites on the back. Greens, blues, greys and black and whites on the front. I use a brown colored thread that matches the original thread of my denim vest!

I'm collecting every patch that I want on it. I've found out that some are very rare.

I'm still looking for:

What's your reason for joining tshirtslayer?: 

Multiple reasons: Many (older) shirts can't be or are hard to find on the internet, so I'm adding to the encyclopedia! Looking for Neurotic Deathfest 2015 (NL) wristband! I'd like to show my WIP battle jacket and collection. Looking for some patches!

Do you goto any festivals or shows?: 

I've been to:

- Obscene Extreme in Czech in 2015 and 2016. Fucking great!!
- Going to Death Feast open air in Germany almost every year since 2013. Best festival around imo!
In my early days I've been to Graspop, Belgium four times (2009-2012)
- MetalDays, Slovenia 5 times. So beautiful! (2013-2016 and 2022) (really want to go to Tolminator)
- Neurotic Deathfest and Netherlands Deathfest in Tilburg, Netherlands. 2011 till 2017.
- Bloodshed fest, NL couple of times as well
- Extremefest in Hünxe, Germany was so rad (2012/2013).

And lots more shows and one day festivals.
