I have been a metal fan since I was 8 years old when I got Master of Puppets. That being my first metal record seemed to be a good sign as to what would be one of my most preferred subgenres: thrash metal. My first record that wasn't Metallica related was Images and Words by Dream Theater. Dream Theater has become most likely m favorite band, I've seemed to stick by them more than I have Metallica and they have opened me up to a lot more progressive rock/metal.
