Hello I like all genres of music because i mostly listen for the drums so if it has a good beat and rythym its in my library from soul, funk and jazz to pop, rock, rap etc.
I mainly listen to hardcore/metalcore/deathcore/screamo/mathcore/rock/sasscore/midwest/emo/.'
Best way to describe it would be coloured belt hxc i think they're all cool like blue, orange and pink but basically anything that falls under whitebelt hxc.
From Northampton - So no not really, there aren't many in my area. There are some grind/metal shows every couple months i used to like the indie/post-punk bands that performed here but they all disbanded or disappeared idk maybe they play different areas of the uk now? Pretty stale nowadays. The EMHC scene as a whole is pretty solid i think thats cool though but its mostly beatdown bands im not really into that but i still try to go AggroFest every year!
I will occasionally check out the northern hardcore/screamo scene with bands from glasgow, manchester, birmingham, newcastle, but i have never really travelled far for a show all of these shows are pretty close to my town. These shows are always awesome: rip mrt :(
Planning on going to see poisonthewell september 2025 though.
