Höllenkreis - 'Des Bruders boser Garten' CD + book

Bit of an oddity this one - Austrian author Fra Diavolo (aka Bruder Cle, of the band Siegfried) wrote a book in 2014 called 'Des Bruders boser Garten' (literally - 'The Brother's Evil Garden') and a tall tale of horrors it is (German language only).

Alex Wieser - of Uruk-Hai, Hrossharsgrani etc - then wrote some music inspired by the book, and it was released in a digipak limited to 500 copies. It's all rather ambient-industrial-horror themed, as you'd imagine.

The synopsis of the book reads as follows:

"Do you have courage? Then enter "the brother's evil garden" and taste its rotten fruits of torture, death and blood. Notice that cutting letters, hurting words, and slamming heels. Do you have strong nerves and a tinny stomach? You will need both, because behind the garden walls there are figures like Josef Sichelgruber or Herbert Uhlendorf waiting for you, whose perversions would fill even a Marquis De Sade with horror. On your walk you will encounter aliens - more bizarre and cruel than those of H.P. Lovecraft. Delve into the filthy, blood-stained underworlds of Vienna's metro system and witness unprecedented human cruelty in the depths of Slovenian cave systems. They experience the zombie apocalypse in Berlin, get to know organ-dealing ghouls in Shanghai's slums and the nameless horror that has spread between the blood and steel of early battlefields. Churches are destroyed by angry trolls in Scandinavian forests as well as by black metal fans in the Alps, whose delusion conjures up an of blood and fire. And at the end of the road, you'll also know what hunger and isolation can do to a teenager like little Sana.
