GISM Crust Punk Levi's 501 Jeans from 1998

Black Levi's 501 Jeans I bought in 1998. I altered the legs to fit tight despite that they have zero stretch material in them, and I also added patches as needed over the years. I didn't wear these for about 10 years at one point, which is why they're not totally destroyed. These are actually in pretty good shape considering all I did back in the old days — especially the hundreds of punk shows I attended and thrashed to while wearing these jeans.

Sadly they have become too small for me. Back when I regularly wore these, I was in my 20s and was 6 feet tall at 160 pounds and could wear a size 31 waist and medium size t-shirts. But, I’m 43 now, and I certainly can’t squeeze into these like I used to. Currently I’m am a waist 38 and wear size XL t-shirts. I gained some weight when I hit 41, and it’s rather difficult to lose weight right now. But TBH, I feel like I’m a little too old to wear crust punk jeans. While I do wear vintage denim almost daily, I don’t wear wild stuff like these jeans anymore…

At least I have them as a memento. That I am fine with.
