Soilent Green "Taste The Truth" Heineken Parody - Extra Large Longsleeve!

Update Mon, 06/08/2018 - 23:52 - The information below is probably incorrect, this item was previously traded/sold.

This is a longsleeve by the band Soilent Green. The artwork is a parody of Heineken beer and the art that is used on the beer caps.

This shirt has a weird story behind it. I saw Soilent Green in 2001 and worked the show where they opened the first night of the Morbid Angel / Deicide tour. I started talking to their (now deceased) bassist Scott Williams and we really got along rather well. It was really strange as he gave me this shirt as a gift. I did not think much of it and thought he was just a super nice person.

Scott later confessed to me that he was a homosexual and thought I was attractive. Seeing as I was / still am / will die a straight man, I kindly shot him down. He gave me his number and told me to call him if i ever changed my mind. I threw the number away as soon as I got to my car.

Fast forward a few years later, Scott was killed by his boyfriend in a murder / suicide. Weird thing was that his band mates did not even know of his sexuality until after his murder.

Also, this might be your last chance to own any Soilent Green merchandise. Vocalist Ben Falgost recently told me at a recent Goatwhore show that he is busy as the vocalist for Goatwhore. Drurmmer Tommy Buckley is busy with Crowbar and Guitarist Brian Patton is busy with Eyehategod. Schedules will not line up and chances are the band is done for the foreseeable future.

The reason I am selling this is because I would rather pour the money into a nicer vinyl record collection and I have absolutely zero need for this shirt. Also, it does not fit me anymore as I have graduated to 2XL. I would rather someone enjoy this item than have it gathering dust in my closet.

Would like a good price for this item. I will field offers and whoever gives me the best offer I will contact personally to arrange for the sale to take place.

Shipping is $10 US in the United States, $20 Rest of the World!
