I bought this shirt on their tour in 1996.
In my opinion was Silverchair in the early years a very good and heavy grunge band. I like the first two albums very much!
You're pretty lucky for having lived a world where Silverchair still played! Hehehe and even luckier for having seen them live! Amazing shirt! Wish it was mine XDDD joke
Thanks sunshine and I’m pretty happy that I grew up in the 90s when the music was great and the life was pure, beautiful and simple! Silverchair were absolutely awesome on this evening and the whole show, it was pure, heavy Grunge with a taste of the guitar riffs of Helmet. I remember they also played “Freak” the song was new and the record “Freak show” was released a little bit later. It was a great and hard moshpit with crowd surfing and so on and without stupid idiots who just stand with their cellphones like a lantern. After the show you bought merchandise shirts because you was totally sweaty and afterwards you waited outside in the parking lot for the bus or your parents to pick you up. That was the 90s and damn I miss it….
Lol i just saw yout comment now (2:00 am) and guess what what I'm listening to? SILVERCHAIR!! haha and the most incredible it's playing "Freak" because Youtube ramdom... XDDD What a coincidence! hehe I totally agree to you about ppl with cellphones in concerts... C'mon, they can experience something magical live, but keep living those cold reality... I understand you can register moment or another, but whole time? It's insane... Something a I like in 90's is how multiple was the music market. There was a "setting" in TV, on radios, magazines and you could explore it more in DVD's and CD's... I still had it in 2000 years... Today I feel the music so cripple, only with internet to pull it up. Social media and youtube makes it seems too generic and diffuse :(
